These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LinkedShot Chrome extension ("LinkedShot", "the extension", "we", "us"). By installing or using LinkedShot, you agree to these Terms. Please read them.

1. What LinkedShot is

LinkedShot is a free Chrome browser extension that enables you to capture screenshots of LinkedIn posts and apply visual backgrounds, effects, and adjustments. It is a personal productivity tool for content creators, marketers, researchers, and professionals who use LinkedIn.

2. Free to use

LinkedShot is provided free of charge. All features are included at no cost. We reserve the right to change this in the future, but any paid features would be additions — existing free features would remain free.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use LinkedShot only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the extension to:

• Capture or reproduce content in a way that violates the intellectual property rights of others
• Create screenshots for the purpose of harassment, defamation, or misrepresentation of others
• Violate LinkedIn's own Terms of Service or Community Standards
• Engage in any automated scraping or bulk capture of LinkedIn content
• Misrepresent the source or authenticity of a captured screenshot

4. Intellectual property

LinkedShot captures the visual rendering of LinkedIn posts as displayed in your browser. The content of those posts — text, images, and other media — belongs to the original authors and is subject to their respective rights and LinkedIn's policies. LinkedShot does not claim ownership over any captured content.

The LinkedShot software, brand, and website are owned by the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or sell any part of the LinkedShot codebase without explicit written permission.

5. Third-party services

LinkedShot operates on LinkedIn, a service owned by LinkedIn Corporation (a Microsoft subsidiary). LinkedShot is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with LinkedIn or Microsoft. Your use of LinkedIn is subject to LinkedIn's own Terms of Service.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

LinkedShot is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The extension will function without interruption or error
• The extension will always be compatible with LinkedIn (LinkedIn may change their interface at any time)
• Any errors or defects will be corrected

LinkedIn changes their website frequently. When they do, some features of LinkedShot may temporarily stop working until we issue an update.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, data loss, or reputational harm — arising from your use of or inability to use LinkedShot, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Modifications to the extension or Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate any changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the extension after any change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the extension at any time without notice, though we'll do our best to communicate significant changes.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
